Happy New Year to Everyone and well done to all pupils who braved the terrible weather!
School Dinners
This is a 6 week term, £2 per day – Cost is £60 for the half term or you can pay weekly or monthly, for those on part time school dinners then 1 day per week is £12, 2 days per week is £24, 3 days per week is £36 and 4 days per week is £48. Spring Term Menus are attached to the email.
Milk
We will send out milk letters to all Infant Children by email some time next week. If your child does wish to have milk then please send a cheque in for £6 – payable to LCC.
Nativity Picture
We are sorry that the Evening Gazette failed to publish the photo that we sent to them. If you would like a copy of the picture,
then please email the school office and we will send you a copy via email. bursar@breck.lancs.sch.uk
Lost Property
A mountain again – if you think you are missing some uniform, then please come into school to check the lost property bin before we recycle it with the February collection.
VICTA
Mrs McGrath would like to thank all those who contributed to her charity at the Nativity Performances. You raised £152 for VICTA – Thank you very much.
After School Activities
We are hoping to recommence all after school activities week commencing 18th January 2010 subject to weather conditions – Watch this space.
Student Placements
We have had an enquiry from a teacher training school in Switzerland. They wonder if any parents at Breck School would like to host a Swiss student for 2 weeks from the 27th June 2010 to the 10th July 2010, the Swiss school would provide finance of £100 per week per student for board and lodging, the host family would be required to bring the student (18 years old) to school with their own children for the Swiss students to then have work experience here at the Breck – if you are interested please let Mrs Taylor in the office know.
