Pupil Premium Allocation

Each school receives additional funding for those children entitled to Free School Meals via the Pupil Premium Allocation. Detailed below is information you can download about how this is spent at Breck Primary School.

If you feel your child may be entitled to Free School Meals then please visit the Lancashire County Council Website

http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/children-education-families/schools/help-with-school-costs/free-school-meals.aspx

If you would like to speak to school about any application in total confidence then please contact Mrs M Taylor the Business Manager 01253 885319.

All KS1 Children in Reception Class, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to the universal free school meal, this is a non means tested benefit of approximately £450 per year for your child, we would encourage all our infant children to take the benefit of a school lunch every day.

For children who are eligible for the pupil premium allocation not only will you receive a free meal (KS1 and KS2), the school also offers a generous Uniform Allowance from the school uniform shop and contributions to school trips including full payment of the Year 6 Residential Trip which takes place annually.

In addition to funding for children eligible for free school meals the school attracts additional funding for children who are or who have ever been in care.  This funding is based upon parent/carers providing evidence to the school.  Please contact Mrs Taylor for further information.
