Rugby Match: 22nd Oct - "The Horabin Associates Trophy"
The rugby began with us not playing. That gave us time to get prepared and also talk. 2nd match in which we played Chaucer it was a fair game but we won 8 tries to 6. After we had got refuelled with water our next match was against Larkholme. It was a good game and also quite hard but it ended up 5:5. After this we felt sure that we would win but we couldn't tell until our next 2 matches against Sacred Heart B and St Wulstans both very good games. We won Sacred Heart 12:1 and we won St Wolstans 9:6.
After 4 tough games, to get the cup we had to win it. The team from group A was Breck and the team from group B was Anchorsholme. They were tough to beat but we worked together and after the end of the match it was 6 to Breck and 6 to Anchorsholme. The golden try was decided as we were in the final. The first team to score gets the ball. We fought to get the ball and Harrison dodged mainly everyone, we scored. That's how we won the cup on 22nd October.

Football Match: 8th Oct
I'm Nathan, captain of the Breck A team, and I'm going to give you reports about our football matches.
We recently played Hambleton but lost 4-0, but I think we played well in general. We had some good attacks, but we need to work on our defence - we need to make sure we don't let our markers get away from us. Our next match is against Staining - I hope we win! I'm Lewis Murray, captain of the contact rugby team.
Against Rossall we played well, but unfortunatley lost. We believe we can, with Mr Hesketh's help, keep improving and that we can beat Rossall. On thursday 9th October we played Rossall school. We played our best, passed the ball around wonderfully and tackled well. The match was close but the final score was Rossall 8 Breck 4. The try scorers were:- Anthony (2), Jack C and Edward.
